A Fantastic And Beautiful Spanish Bronze Cannon With The Raised Arms Of Spain And Date 1702.
Tube is 34 inches overall with a 2 inch bore. Weighing 36 pounds.
The details on this cannon are well rendered throughout. Lovely shell form touch-hole. Lovely green bronze patination. Whether this is an early 18th century cannon or later has not been determined only that this tube is a work of art throughout.
Comes on a very old elaborate field carriage with scalloped iron strapping, lovely turned wheel spokes with iron straps. 20 inches wide and 5 feet long overall. Condition of tube is excellent and carriage mounts are rust patinated from outdoor display.
This wonderful cannon will be the centerpiece of any gunroom or living room. Shipping must be by professional crating company or can be delivered in Southern California.
