This is a third model Brown Bess pattern rifle made by Ketland and Adams with a 1793 style lock in the Napoleonic Era.
The barrel has standard English proofs and marked number 15. The wood is generally sound with numerous bumps and nicks from issue. It has been lightly cleaned in the past. There are a few slivers out of the barrel channel.
It has a period ramrod and the action works well at full and half cock. The caliber is approximately .75 caliber. The rifle is overall sound. The barrel is approximately 39 inches.
