With a blade of approximately 25 inches, this is a classic Hizen Tachi with well executed file marks.
Finely made with an attractive straight battle temper, has Mokume hada grain.
In Japanese Army officer mounts, the condition of the blade is excellent in almost full polish with one microchip approximately five inches from the Habaki
Not to be confused with a machine-made oil tempered military sword; this is an exceptional handmade Samurai sword.
