In as-found condition this gun shows standard English proofs with the lock plate being marked with a large royal crown; the bore is approximately .79 caliber.
The wood is extremely sound showing typical handling marks of an issued weapon. The action functions at full and half cock position. The hammer appears to be a working life replacement.
