French Model 1815 military pistol for export to the East.
This large caliber military cavalry pistol, approximately .72 caliber, has Arabic markings on the lock plate. This pistol was probably a French military weapon made for export and sent to the Middle East after the Napoleonic Wars. The action requires some minor adjustments to work consistently strong.
This is a unique crossover pistol, somewhat rare, and has an original steel ramrod.
