A Fine Pair Of Solid Gold Goto School Japanese Samurai Menuki Of Shi Shi Dogs Circa 1750.
The well cast and chased menuki possess the rich color of high carat (22+) gold used by Japanese makers of fine kodogu. Length 7/8ths and 1 inch respectively.
These are classic Goto menuki that would compliment a fine tanto or ko-wakizashi or please any collector of quality fittings.
