A Belgian Made Flintlock Military Pistol With Good Legible Arabic Stamp On the Lock. Circa 1820. Plain 9 inch round barrel. 70 caliber.
Rounded lock with swan neck hammer and bridled frizzen. Brass triggerguard, nose cap and butt with lanyard ring. Steel parts with smooth even brown patina. Brass mounts are unpolished. One screw missing from triggerguard. Varnished walnut full stock with typical marks from military storage and one tight line crack behind nose cap on right side.
Half cock functions but lock needs adjustment to hold on full cock. Bore is good.
This example is unusual due to the Arabic lock stamp and is a showy large military flintlock pistol.
