Matched Pair of Fully Silver Overlaid Long Ottoman Flintlock Holster Pistols Circa 1810

14 and 1/2 inch round barrels, .68 caliber etched with strap work at breech, flat locks chiseled with florals, the gooseneck cocks chiseled en suite with the locks and finely faceted frizzes. The walnut stocks entirely overlaid with repousse sheet silver with vines, leaves, and beaded borders. Heavy silver buttcaps cast and chased with flowers. Skull crusher finials. The barrels held by a long silver capucine of repousse silver en suite with the mounts. Silver trigger guards. Butts wrapped with braided silver wire in classic Ottoman fashion.

Pistols measure 22 inches overall. Condition overall rates good with minor losses and some wear to steel surfaces, Both pistols hold on half cock.

This is a very showy pair of silver encrusted pistols and would please anyone who appreciates Ottoman firearms.  A real opportunity at $3000.
