An Attractive Late 18th Century English Brass Barrel Flintlock Pistol Circa 1790 By William Ketland & Co. 1789-1798.
54 caliber. 7 and 3/4 inch round brass barrel. Barrel marked “London” with Birmingham proofs and line engraving. Bolted lock signed “W. Ketland & Co”. Plain brass mounts. Barrel in fine condition. Lock with clear markings and heavily patinated.
Figured walnut full stock in good condition throughout other than one tight hairline crack forward of the triggerguard. Ramrod is a good replacement. Action is sticky and mainspring is a less than ideal replacement.
