A Turn Off Cannon Barrel English Boxlock Flintlock Pocket Pistol By Archer (Thomas Archer 1775-1818, 14 Lichfield Street, Birmingham).
2 and 3/8th inch canon muzzle barrel. .45 caliber.
Engraved box lock frame with “Archer” on left side and “London” on right. Birmingham proofs on frame. Triggerguard with engraved flower.
Figured slab sided walnut butt. Condition overall is very good with crisp engraving, lovely age brown patina, excellent action, and good wood. A fine example of this type by a well known English maker.
