A Lucius W. Pond Single Action Pocket or Belt Revolver s/n 148 manufactured circa 1861 to 1870 with a total quantity estimated at several thousand.
This .32 caliber rimfire six shot revolver has a 4 inch barrel. The plumbed barrel has brilliant blue in protected areas and the brass has taken on a nice mellow patina.
The hammer has extensive muted case hardening, and the cylinder is totally plumbed out. All dimensions are crisp and sharp. The action functions well. The retaining latch is loose; the grip panels have some small chips.
The standard small screwdriver utility that screws into the underside of the butt is missing.
