A Good Late Model 1866 Winchester “Yellow Boy” Saddle Ring Carbine Serial Number 161128 For 1883.
20 inch round barrel. 44 centerfire caliber. Steel gray barrel with very crisp Winchester address and original adjustable rear sight stamped ‘1873’.
Magazine tube patina matches the barrel. Lever and hammer in good condition with no corrosion. Frame with good mustard color and expected wear. Rifle butt with rifle buttplate.
Full dimension walnut buttstock fits perfectly with no number in channel. Full dimension walnut fore-end in very good condition. Excellent, shiny bore with no corrosion and great lands and grooves. Action works well with good half and full cock. Sideplates fractionally undersized.
