A Good Silver Damascened Hilt Indian Tulwar With Lovely Pattern Welded Blade Circa 1875.
The blade is 27 inches overall and 1 and 3/8th inches wide with distinct pattern throughout. The hilt of characteristic form entirely Damascened with framed silver blossoms. The silver is in fine original condition throughout.
The blade is struck on the right side with the blade smith’s mark. 31 and 3/4 inches overall.
A most attractive genuine Indian talwar that will please the aficionado of fine Indian swords.
