10 inch octagonal to round “Spanish” form barrel with swamped muzzle. 65 caliber bore. The barrel heavily Damascened in rich gold leafy meander for most of its length, gold line at breech, and further embellished with gold acanthus and gold faux lettering. Breech tang engraved.

The bolted flat lock plate Damascened in gold with blossoms at tail and gold faux signature ensuite with gold barrel signature. Bridled frizzen. The gooseneck cocktail Damascened in gold as is the cocktail screw. Pierced, cast, and chased silver sideplate in the best English style. Engraved steel triggerguard with acanthus finial. Silver ramrod pipes. Heavy silver cast and chased buttcap adorned with shells and sunburst enclosing the retaining screw.

Figured walnut fullstock is inlaid throughout its length with fine silver wire, engraved crescent moons and engraved silver thumb piece. Condition of barrel is a very pleasing age brown patina with all gold Damascene intact. Condition of the lock is ensuite with the barrel. Silver mounts are crisp and not rubbed, All silver wire and inlays are intact except for one very minor strand at extreme left of muzzle. Walnut stock is fine throughout.

The action is crisp on full and half cock and the bore is good. 16 and 1/2 inches overall. This is a very beautiful flintlock holster pistol that would enhance any collection of fine Islamic arms.
