U.S. Made Dutch Klewang M1940 Cutlass By Milsco With Original Scabbard
An excellent Dutch Klewang Cutlass made in the United States by Milsco (Milwaukee Saddlery Company) for the Dutch. Many of these were captured and used by the Japanese in the Dutch East Indies and they can also be seen in period photos used by U.S. Forces in the Pacific.
The 25" blued blade is correctly unmarked. The factory edge shows small nicks from use. Both the hilt and blade retain nearly all of their original blue finish. The guard is free of dents and only shows minor oxidation. The original leather scabbard is intact. Overall length in scabbard is 30 1/2".
