Victorian Period British Model 1822/1845 Infantry Officer's Sword By Linney Of London
An exceptional British Sword with original scabbard. The beautiful 31" long etched blade retains almost all of its original frosting. Guard with Victorian Cypher and some gilt. Guard still has the original tassel, leather interior and the handle's shagreen and wire wrap is all intact and tight.
Scabbard is complete and shows minor scuffs from use.
Measures 37" overall in scabbard. Linney of London was a Military Outfitter from 1829-1886.
