Washington Arms Co. (a trade name of William W. Marston, New York) Pepperbox circa 1850's.
Approximately 5" long cast steel ribbed barrel, six shot, .31 caliber. Frame with simple engraving. The action functions and markings are legible.
Wood grips are poorly fitting working life replacements. Old repair to front strap of grip frame.
Measuring at nearly 8 1/2" long, this is a visually impressive Pepperbox.
