Excellent Islamic Silver-mounted Shamshir.
This stunning shamshir has a fine-watered, excellent quality steel blade with some light staining and patches of light-plus pitting.
The blade has a very strong curve with an approximate length of 29 inches. The overall length of the sword is approximately 35 inches and 36 ¼ inches in the scabbard.
This has a beautifully embossed silver scabbard with two areas of gilding, and the central one has trophies of arms and crescent moons. The scabbard dirt guard is still intact.
The faceted horn pistol grip is in excellent condition.
This is a very fine sword in very good condition.
