Scarce .28 caliber unshielded Stocking and Company 6 shot pepperbox. 4 inch barrels and 7 1/2 inches overall. This pepperbox also has the less common removable nipples.
The action functions perfectly and is tight and crisp. The wood has not shrunk and there is no apparent pitting anywhere to be found. This gun would clean up very nicely if desired, or it may be left in its current state.
