Large Bore European Percussion "Manstopper" Pistol Circa 1850
An unmarked and unproofed .65 caliber percussion pistol from the mid 19th century. The octasgonal barrel shows heavy cleaning and the hardwood grip is in good condition. The fine checkering shows wear but no apparent cracks or splits.
With captive ramrod and perfectly functioning action, this coat or officer's pistol is a good solid gun.
