This is a fine Smith and Wesson Model No2 Army revolver.
The fine quality rosewood grips show only very slight edge wear and retain most of the original varnish.
The rest of the gun retains about 90% of the original blue on the frame, and the barrel has about 50% of the original bright blue, which is showing early signs of starting to plumb but no pitting.
There are a small number of strong scratches and nicks scattered on the frame. The action on this gun functions flawlessly.
