A Rare Engraved Variation Of The Popular “Apache” Style French Pinfire “Fist Pistol” Pepperbox Revolver. 2 inch barrel cluster. 6mm caliber.
The barrels with flutes and lovely plum patina with no pitting. The recoil shield with finely executed floral engraving. The frame engraved en suite with traces of finish and no wear.
Good molded walnut bag style grips with 50% original varnish showing little wear. Folding trigger. Unusual take down lever on left side. Action works well. All six bores are good.
This is a far better than usually seen and will please both the pinfire and oddity collector. No proofs only a “PG” stamp on the forward section of the frame. 5 and 3/4 inches overall. A little gem.
